Discovery Core Rheometer: The DCR delivers rheological characterization in rotation, oscillation, and transient modes in a streamlined easy-to-use platform. Precision air bearings, low-inertia drag cup motor and high-resolution optical encoder enable measurements of wide-ranging viscous materials under real-world conditions, and quantitative insights into viscoelastic properties.The Discovery Core Rheometer includes a Peltier plate providing temperature control from -10 °C to 200 °C for measurements using Cone and Plate and Parallel Plate configurations, with integrated air cooling of Peltiers eliminating the need for an externalfluid circulator. The Discovery Core Rheometer comes standard with 40 mm diameter stainless steel upper parallel plate and lower Quick-Change Plate, suitable for a broad range of measurements. Additional parallel plate geometries and cone geometries arereadily available- the Discovery Core Rheometer’s Smart Swap reader automatically identifies attached geometries, and its integrated Peltier plate provides an easy exchange of lower Quick-Change Plates to change diameter or configure with textured platesas needed. Adding a Concentric Cylinder jacket (PN: 536490.901) to the Discovery Core Rheometer enables testing in a cup-and-rotor configuration ideal for low-viscosity fluids. Cup inserts and upper rotor geometries are available in a variety of sizes, shapes, and materials. The Concentric Cylinder configuration provides temperature control over a range of 0 °C to 150 °C. TheDiscovery Core Rheometer enables routine testing entirely from the touchscreen with RheoGuide™, a streamlined user interface brining instrument operations directly to the operator. RheoGuide™ is included with the Discovery Core Rheometer, featuring standard methods with guided operation, and customization of workflow to align with standard operating procedures. RheoGuide™, instrument controls, data analysis, data management and data reporting are powered by TRIOS software, included with the Discovery Core Rheometer.
