ECL™ Advance Blocking Reagent may be used for high-sensitivity ECL and fluorescence western blotting applications.

General description

The Amersham™ ECL™ Prime blocking agent is suitable for blocking Amersham™ Protran® nitrocellulose (NC) and Amersham™ Hybond® polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) membranes when used along with the ECL chemiluminescence detection reagents like Amersham ECL, ECL start, ECL Prime, ECL Select, and ECL Plex. It aids in blocking non-specific antibody binding to protect the sensitivity and specificity of your assay. Each pack with 40 g of blocking agent is adequate for at least 20 mini blots.
