Palcam agar is a highly selective medium used for the enumeration of Listeria monocytogenes from foods, faecal and other biological samples and heavily contaminated environmental samples. Palcam is recommended for the APHA, AFNOR, IDF and OAOC methods for the detection of Listeria monocytogenes.
