BOND DAB Enhancer is a ready-to-use solution that intensifies the 3,3’-diaminobenzidine (DAB) staining of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue on the BOND automated system.
DAB is a chromogen used for IHC/ISH staining. In the presence of peroxidase enzyme, DAB produces a brown precipitate, at the epitope site, that is insoluble in alcohol. The BOND DAB Enhancer precipitates as a copper salt at the reaction site producing a darker brown staining deposit.
