Application
Anti-DOCK11, clone 1F11 ZooMAb, Cat. No. ZRB1048, is a recombinant Rabbit monoclonal antibody that specifically targets DOCK11 and is tested for use in Affinity Binding Assay, Immunocytochemistry, and Western Blotting.
Western Blotting Analysis: A 1:1,000 dilution from a representative lot detected DOCK11 in HEK293 cell lysate.Immunocytochemistry Analysis: A 1:100 dilution from a representative lot detected DOCK11 in HeLa, A431, HepG2, and NIH3T3 cells.Affinity Binding Assay: A representative lot of this antibody bound DOCK11 peptide with a KD of 5.7 x 10-8 in an affinity binding assay.Note: Actual optimal working dilutions must be determined by end user as specimens, and experimental conditions may vary with the end user

General description
ZooMAb antibodies represent an entirely new generation of recombinant monoclonal antibodies. Each ZooMAb antibody is manufactured using our proprietary recombinant expression system, purified to homogeneity, and precisely dispensed to produce robust and highly reproducible lot-to-lot consistency. Only top-performing clones are released for use by researchers. Each antibody is validated for high specificity and affinity across multiple applications, including its most commonly used application. ZooMAb antibodies are reliably available and ready to ship when you need them.Learn more about ZooMAb here.
Immunogen
KLH-conjugated linear peptide corresponding to 25 amino acids from the C-terminal half of human DOCK11 protein.
Legal Information
ZooMAb is a registered trademark of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany
Physical form
Purified recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody IgG, lyophilized in PBS with 5% Trehalose, normal appearance a coarse or translucent resin. Contains no biocide or preservatives, such as azide, or any animal by-products. Larger pack sizes provided as multiples of 25 µL.
Reconstitution
0.3 mg/mL after reconstitution at 25 µL per vial. Please refer to guidance on suggested starting dilutions and/or titers per application and sample type.
Specificity
Clone 1F11 is a ZooMAb rabbit recombinant monoclonal antibody that specifically detects DOCK11 protein. It targets an epitope within 25 amino acids from the C-terminal half.
Storage and Stability
Recommend storage of lyophilized product at 2-8°C; Before reconstitution, micro-centrifuge vials briefly to spin down material to bottom of the vial; Reconstitute each vial by adding 25 µL of filtered lab grade water or PBS; Reconstituted antibodies can be stored at 2-8°C, or -20°C for long term storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaws.
Target description
Dedicator of cytokinesis protein 11 (UniProt: Q5JSL3; also known as Activated Cdc42-associated guanine nucleotide exchange factor, ACG, Zizimin-2, DOCK11) is encoded by the DOCK11 (also known as ZIZ2) gene (Gene ID: 139818) in human. DOCK11 is a guanine nucleotide-exchange factor (GEF) that activates CDC42 by exchanging bound GDP for free GTP. It is shown to be essential for marginal zone (MZ) B-cell development and associated with early bone marrow B-cell development, MZ B-cell formation, MZ B-cell number and marginal metallophilic macrophages morphology. DOCK11 contains DHR-1 (aa 640-880) and DHR-2 (aa 1609-2036) domains. The DHR-2 domain is essential for its GEF activity and mediates interaction with activated CDC42 in conjunction with residues 66-126. DOCK11 expression has been reported in Germinal center B lymphocytes, spleen, thymus, bone marrow, and in peripheral blood lymphocytes. Lower levels of expression have been observed in NIH-3T3 fibroblasts, 2C12 myoblasts and Neuro-2A neuroblastoma cells.
