General description
94 kDa glucose-regulated protein (GRP94) is also called Endoplasmin, Heat shock protein 90 kDa beta member 1 (HSP90B1), Tumor rejection antigen 1 (TRA1) and gp96 homolog. GRP94 is involved in the processing and transport of secreted proteins. GRP94 also functions in endoplasmic reticulum associated degradation (ERAD), and has ATPase activity.
