Application

Anti-Bovine Serum antibody produced in rabbit may be used to prepare anti-BSA-BSA complexes that enhance the relative procoagulant activity of leukocytes. It has been used inimmunoelectrophoresis immunodiffusion enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA)

Bovine serum is required for the in vitro growth of cells. Bovine serum albumin (BSA) is one of the important constituents of bovine serum.

Physical form

Supplied as a liquid containing 0.1% sodium azide (see MSDS) as a preservative.

Specificity

Rabbit Anti-Bovine Whole Serum is determined to have strong reactivity with bovine serum proteins. No reactivity with horse or pig serum proteins is observed.

Storage and Stability

For continuous use, store at 2-8 °C for up to one month. For extended storage, the solution may be frozen in working aliquots. Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Storage in "frost-free" freezers not recommended. If slight turbidity occurs upon prolonged storage, clarify the solution by centrifugation before use.
