Application

Rabbit Anti-YEATS4 antibody can be used for western blot (0.5µg/ml) and immunohistochemistry (4-8µg/ml, using paraffin-embedded tissues) assays.

Biochem/physiol Actions

YEATS4 is found in the nucleoli. It has high sequence homology to human MLLT1, and yeast and human MLLT3 proteins. Both MLLT1 and MLLT3 proteins belong to a class of transcription factors, indicating that the encoded protein might also represent a transcription factor. This protein is thought to be required for RNA transcription. This gene has been shown to be amplified in tumors.

YEATS4 is an oncogene that negatively regulates the p21-p53 pathway. Amplification of YEATS4 has been linked to the pathogenesis of non-small cell lung cancers (NSCLC).Rabbit Anti-YEATS4 antibody recognizes chicken, bovine, zebrafish, canine, human, mouse, and rat YEATS4.
