Analysis Note
ControlModified and non modified peptides of phosphorylated and non-phosphorlyated Peak proteins
Application
Western Blot Analysis: A representative lot was used by an independent laboratory in 293T cells transfected with wildtype GFP-Peak. (Dr. Richard Klemke, University of California-San Diego.)
This phospho-Peak antibody is validated for use in WB & Dot Blot for the detection of the phospho-Peak protein.
General description
Pseudopodium-enriched atypical kinase 1 (Peak1; KIAA2002, or sgk269) is a ubiquitous non-receptor tyrosine kinase that belongs to the NFK3 family. It interacts with actin filaments via its N-terminal actin-targeting region. It also modulates the activity of multiple cytoskeletal regulatory proteins such as paxillin, p130Cas, Erk, and Crk; and mediates cell proliferation and migration via the Ras/Raf/Erk and Src-p130Cas-Crk-Paxillin pathways. Peak1 may play an important role in the progression of tumors.
Immunogen
KLH-conjugated linear peptide corresponding to human Peak phosphorylated at Tyr665.
Epitope: Phosphorylated Tyr665
Other Notes
Concentration: Please refer to the Certificate of Analysis for the lot-specific concentration.
Quality
Evaluated by Dot Blot in modified and non modified peptides of phosphorylated and non-phosphorlyated Peak proteins.
Dot Blot (Specificity) Analysis: A representative lot blocked phospho-Peak (Tyr665) in modified and non modified peptides of phosphorylated and non-phosphorlyated Peak proteins.
Specificity
This antibody recognizes Peak phosphorylated at Tyr665.
