General description
Neuron-specific protein family member 1 (NSG1), is also known as Brain neuron cytoplasmic protein 1. It is responsible for dopamine receptor binding in the dopamine signaling pathway.
Immunogen
Epitope: Cytoplasmic domain
KLH-conjugated linear peptide corresponding to the cytoplasmic domain of human NSG1.
Other Notes
Concentration: Please refer to the Certificate of Analysis for the lot-specific concentration.
Physical form
Affinity purified
Purified rabbit polyclonal in buffer containing 0.1 M Tris-Glycine (pH 7.4), 150 mM NaCl with 0.05% sodium azide.
Quality
Evaluated by Western Blotting in human cerebellum tissue lysate.
Western Blotting Analysis: 2.0 µg/mL of this antibody detected NSG1 in 10 µg of human cerebellum tissue lysate.
Specificity
This antibody recognizes the cytoplasmic domain of NSG1.
Storage and Stability
Stable for 1 year at 2-8°C from date of receipt.
Target description
~20/17 kDa observed. An uncharacterized band may appear at ~12 kDa in some lysates. The calculated molecular weight is 21 kDa, however NSG1 has been shown as a ~20/17 kDa band in western blots (Catsicas, S., et al. (2004). Lausanne, EPFL. 1-162).
