Application

Escitalopram Oxalate may be used as a pharmaceutical reference standard for the quantification of the analyte in pharmaceutical formulations using high-performance thin layer chromatography technique and reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography technique.

Biochem/physiol Actions

Escitalopram is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI), the S-enantiomer and eutomer of citalopram.

General description
