General description

A water-soluble, neutral, and odorless disulfide reducing agent that is more stable and effective than DTT. THP is comparable with TCEP (Cat. No. 580560) as a reducing agent. Its reduction capacity against oxidized glutathione is 0.232 meq/g compared to TCEP with a reduction capacity of 0.182 meq/g. THP is also more resistant to air oxidation compared to DTT.
