β-Galactosyl ceramide (β −GalCer) plays a role in regulating the activity of β-glucocerebrosidase (β-GlcCer′ase). It is also a receptor for various bacterial and viral toxins.
General description
C13 Galactosyl(β) Ceramide-d7 (d18:1-D7/13:0) is deuterated derivative of C13 Galactosyl(β) Ceramide. β-Galactosyl ceramide (β −GalCer) is one of the uncomplicated glycosphingolipid.
