General description
Focal adhesion kinase family interacting protein of 200 kDa (FIP200) is a novel protein inhibitor for focal adhesion kinase (FAK). FIP200 inhibits kinase activity and associated cellular functions, such as cell adhesion, spreading, and motility in fibroblasts by binding directly to FAK.
Immunogen
Epitope: C-terminus
The immunogen was a synthetic peptide corresponding to the C-terminal region of FIP200.
Physical form
Unpurified rabbit serum in buffer containing 0.05% sodium azide.
Quality
Evaluated by western blot on HEK293 cell lysate.
Western Blot Analysis: 1:1,000 dilution of this antibody was used to detect FIP200 in HEK293 cell lysate.
Specificity
This antibody recognizes the C-terminal region of FIP200.
