Extremely sensitive fluorogenic substrate for matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs). Suitable for assessment of total activity in crude preparations by continuous assays (kcat/Km = 1.7 x 105 M-1sec-1 for MMP-7 and 6.3 x 105 M-1sec-1 for MMP-2).
