Esco Ascent™ Max (ADC) Ductless Fume Hood utilizes a carbon filtration system to remove toxic chemical fumes and recycle clean air back to the laboratory. This airflow principle provides operator and environment protection. Ductless fume hoods are a viable alternative to ducted fume hoods as no extraction systems are required, and its plug-and-play feature prevents any downtime in the laboratory. Esco ductless fume hoods also offer energy savings, convenience, and mobility.
Esco Ascent™ Max-C Series (ADC-C) has a secondary carbon exhaust filter that offers a higher filtration efficiency against toxic chemical fumes. This model can handle a broader range of chemicals and it offers a dual layer of protection that can lengthen the filter change interval.
- Robust hood construction with key components mounted outside the airstream for easier servicing
- Permanently-lubricated external-rotor centrifugal fan offers low noise, low vibration and energy efficiency
- Filtration system with a main Nanocarb™ activated-carbon filter (8 types) and a secondary backup Nanocarb™ activated-carbon filter for higher filtration efficiency and extended filter change interval
- Efficient perimeter clamping on the filters to prevent leakage and enable easy filter replacement
- Optional VOC sensor to detect volatile organic compounds and sound an alarm when filter saturation approaches
- Worktop options include standard stainless steel and upgrades to phenolic resin or epoxy for enhanced chemical resistance
- Isocide™ antimicrobial powder coating that eliminates 99.9% of surface bacteria within 24 hours
- Available in multiple widths (0.9m, 1.2m, 1.5m, 1.8m) and optional PP drip-cup provision
- Plug-and-play ductless design that recycles clean air back into the laboratory without requiring external extraction systems
- Designed for convenience, mobility and energy savings in laboratory fume-extraction applications
