The SLS Lab Basics Max III Trinocular Compound Microscope (4x, 10x, 40x, 100x Plan Achromatic) is professionally designed for laboratory applications in teaching laboratories, offering precise high-quality images with its fully-coated optical system. This microscope comes with an inclined 30° and 360° rotatable trinocular head and a built-in mechanical stage. Four high clarity Plan Achromatic objectives are supplied as standard.
- Integral carrying handle allows for one handed transportation of the microscope
- Precondenser: fixed lens, which is removable to accept a mirror (for locations without power) and to allow for lamp replacement
- All objectives are colour coded to ease identification when in use
- Reversed nosepiece and full mechanical stage: quadruple reversed, so providing easy uninterrupted access to the stage when changing over slides, has full X/Y movement and spring loaded slide holder
- Optical head: trinocular with photo port inclined at 30°, interpupillary distance adjustment (Siedentopf type): 47 to 78mm, dioptric adjustment on one eyepiece
- Eyepieces: 10x/18mm wide-field (pointer in one eyepiece)
- Nosepiece: quadruple reversed, revolving with click stop
- Objectives: 4x, 10x, 40x, 100x plan achromatic
- Condenser: brightfield Abbe NA 1.25 - precentred, focusable, iris diaphragm and filter holder
- Stage: 160 x 140mm with built-in mechanical stage and slide holder, 75 x 50mm movement, Vernier scale
- Focusing knobs: coaxial coarse and fine with stop

- Converter: built-in low voltage (3.2 - 3.5V electric)
