General description
Prednisolone prevents protease activity in vitro. It stimulates myogenesis and inhibits apoptosis. Prednisolone is used to treat Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD), gout arthritis and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD) exacerbations.
