General description
KT5823 is a protein kinase inhibitor. It inhibits guanosine monophosphate (GMP)-dependent protein kinase activity (cGK). It is a staurosporine compound, which promotes the thyroid-stimulating hormone and regulates Na+/I− symporter (NIS) expression.
