Detect Monocarboxylate Transporter 1 using this Anti-Monocarboxylate Transporter 1 Antibody validated for use in ELISA & WB.
Western blot: 1-5 µg/mL using ECL. Membrane preps are recommended.
ELISA: 1:10,000-1:100,000 using 50-100 ng control peptide per well.
Optimal working dilutions must be determined by the end user.

A 17 amino acid peptide sequence near the C-terminus of rat MCT1 (Gerhart et al. 1997; Knott et al. 1999; Takanaga et al. 1995; Carpenter et al. 1996; Koehler-Stec et al. 1998; Yoon et al. 1999; Halestrap & Price 1999).

Specificity
Recognizes rat Monocarboxylate Transporter 1 (MCT1). The immunogen shows no significant sequence homology with MCT2-8.
SPECIES REACTIVITIES: The immunogen sequence is 93% conserved in hamster, 80% in mouse and only 40% in human. Reactivity with other species has not been confirmed.
Storage and Stability
Maintain at -20°C in undiluted aliquots for up to 6 months. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
