General description

Diagnostics Kit

The reagent comes as a 5 ml dropper vial of monoclonal antibodies specific for Human Metapneumovirus (hMPV) and Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) in 0.2% BSA in PBS, Tween, Sodium Azide with Evans Blue. Use for the simultaneous detection of hMPV by green direct immunofluorescence staining and RSV by gold direct immunofluorescence staining in one direct flouorescence assay (DFA). This product is for research use only; not for use as a diagnostic. Physical form

5 mL dropper vial of monoclonal antibodies specific for Human Metapneumovirus (HMPV) and Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) in 0.2% BSA in PBS, Tween, Sodium Azide with Evans blue.

Warnings/Precautions:
1) Sodium Azide may react with copper or lead plumbing to form potentially explosive metal azides. When disposing of Sodium Azide, flush plumbing with large volumes of water to prevent build up. 2) Avoid contact with Evans blue, as it is a potential carcinogen. If skin contact occurs, flush with large volumes of water.

Storage and Stability

When stored at 2° to 8°C and protected from light, reagent is stable up to the expiration date printed on the label.
