Features and Benefits
Ready-to-use one-step RT-qPCR probe kit with all components for RT-qPCR (except primers, probes and template RNA) Uses the robust ABScript II Reverse Transcriptase (RT), which provides reliable and efficient reverse transcription on a wide range of RNA template amount This one-step kit improves sensitivity and effectively prevents contamination Flexible format, as the ABScript II One Step RT-qPCR Probe Kit includes two separate 50X concentrations of the ROX (passive reference) dye, to be added as required by specific qPCR instruments.
General description
The ABScript II One Step RT-qPCR Probe Kit is a convenient, ready-to-use kit with optimized components for use for reverse transcription and subsequent probe-based qPCR. The one-step format prevents contamination and allows for higher sensitivity. This kit is ideal for analyzing low input RNA samples. The ABScript II Reverse Transcriptase in the kit provides reliable reverse transcription of RNA. After reverse transcription, the hot-start version of Taq polymerase is activated at 95°C and the ABScript II Reverse Transcriptase is inactivated simultaneously. In the sequential PCR reaction, the 5′-3′ exonuclease activity of Taq polymerase cleaves the hybridized probe, separating the reporter from the quencher and releasing fluorescent signal.
