Multi-element standards for AA & ICP instrumentation

Use the Quality Control Standards to check the standard curve, the procedure for inter-element correction and other spectral interferences. These standards are carried through the entire analytical operation of the method. If the determined concentration is not within ±5% of 1 µg/mL, the laboratory performance is unacceptable. The source of the problem should be identified and corrected before continuing the analysis.

This multi-element standard contains 7 components.

• Quality control standard 7 is a 500 mL bottle which contains 1,000 µg/mL (1,000 ppm) of Potassium; 100 µg/mL (100 ppm) of Aluminum, Barium, Boron, Silver, Sodium; and 50 µg/mL (50 ppm) of Silicon.
