General description

Malt Extract Agar supports the growth of almost all fungi very well, because of its balanced composition, and restrains most of the bacteria due to the strong acidity. Re-adjust the pH to 3.5 for more selection against the bacterial growth desired.

Other Notes

Using syringe needles with a diameter greater than 0.8 mm is not recommended.
