Application

Applied in a widely useful, thiosulfate-assisted, synthesis of a variety of diamine-CuCN complexes.Sodium thiosulfate (Na₂S₂O₃) may be used in the following studies: Industrial synthesis of methylene blue. Quantitative estimation of elemental iodine by titrimetry. Detection of trace levels of cysteine by employing triangular silver nanoplates (TAg-NPs).

General description

Sodium thiosulfate (Na₂S₂O₃) can be obtained from Na₂S₂O₃.10H₂O by heating above 100 °C. It can be synthesized from sodium sulfate.
