Application

14:0-16:0 PC (1-myristoyl-2-palmitoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine) has been used to generate Wnt3a liposomes. It has also been used as a calibration standard for lipidomic analysisby liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS). It may be used in the bilayer membrane to study its miscibility with d-erythro-N-palmitoyl-sphingomyelin (16:0-SM) using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC).
