Application

Hydrazinium hydroxide (N2H4.H2O) can be used as a reducing agent to synthesize: Magnetic nickel nanoparticles by polyol process using nickel acetate as a precursor. Cu@Cu2O core-shell nanoparticles via a chemical reduction method using CuSO4.5H2O as a precursor. It can also be used as a reactant to prepare: 2H-indazolo[2,1-b]phthalazine-1,6,11(13H)-trione derivatives by Ce(SO4)2·4H2O catalyzed condensation reaction with phthalic anhydride, aromatic aldehydes, and dimedone.
