100 mM IPTG Solution

General description

The lac operon inducer IPTG (isopropyl-β-D-1-thiogalactopyranoside) is recommendedfor blue/white screening by lacZ A-complementation with appropriate vectorsand host strains, such as pSTBlue-1/NovaBlue,and for inducing protein expression with thepET System and other lac promoter-derivedexpression systems. The preparation isdioxane-free and supplied as a sterile aqueoussolution, in convenient volumes (10 × 1.5 ml).
