Synthetic chromogenic analog of sphingomyelin. Useful substrate for selectively measuring the activity of acid sphingomyelinase.

Synthetic chromogenic analog of sphingomyelin. Useful for measuring sphingomyelinase activity. Can be used for selective assay of brain sphingomyelinase without any interference from neutral sphingomyelinase.
