Checkpoint suppressor 1 is a member of the forkhead/winged helix transcription factor family. Checkpoints are eukaryotic DNA damage-inducible cell cycle arrests at G1 and G2. Checkpoint suppressor 1 suppresses multiple yeast checkpoint mutations including mec1, rad9, rad53 and dun1 by activating a MEC1-independent checkpoint pathway.

General description

CHES1 (or FOXN3) is a forkhead transcription factor that modulates cell proliferation by supressing PIM2 and protein synthesis. FOXN3 has also been implicated in transcriptional repression, DNA damage responses, hematopoietic cancers, and oral cancers.Rabbit Anti-CHES1 antibody recognizes chicken, zebrafish, human, mouse, rat, pig, and canine CHES1.
