The combined operation created the largest independent European distributor of laboratory supplies with circa €180m of combined revenue.
Dominique Dutscher has built upon its Life Science expertise to develop a significant share of the laboratory supplies market in France and other European countries. DD is well known for the quality of its service and technical support, the close relationship it maintains with customers and its capability to deliver through an extensive inventory and class-leading logistics capability.
DD is France’s No.1 independent distributor of supplies and equipment to R&D laboratories. Headquartered in Brumath (Alsace, France), it offers over 40,000 products from all the leading brands of the laboratory market to a multitude of R&D laboratories in academic research and industry. The Dutscher group is active in 7 other countries, including Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Spain, Czech Republic and Slovakia maintaining a total workforce of over 400 employees. The group serves the entire continental European market through its automated logistics warehouse located in Brumath, processing over 2,000 orders a day with two manufacturing units operating in Italy and Slovakia.
