Laboratory Fortifying Stock (LFS) Solutions is used for spiking the laboratory fortified blank and the laboratory fortified sample matrix. Two (2 mL) of the LFS solution must be added to a 100 mL aliquot of the laboratory fortified blank. This blank must be carried through the entire sample preparation procedure and analysis scheme.

This multi-component standard set contains 2 solutions.

• Solution 1 is a 125 mL bottle which contains 50 µg/mL (50 ppm) of Phosphorus; 25 µg/mL (25 ppm) of Selenium, Silicon Dioxide, Titanium; and 10 µg/mL (10 ppm) of Antimony, Arsenic, Boron, Molybdenum, Tin, Vanadium in 2% HNO3/tr. Tartaric Acid/tr. HF.

• Solution 2 is a 125 mL bottle which contains 250 µg/mL (250 ppm) of Potassium; 25 µg/mL (25 ppm) of Aluminum, Calcium, Cerium, Iron, Lead, Magnesium, Sodium; 10 µg/mL (10 ppm) of Barium, Beryllium, Cadmium, Chromium, Cobalt, Copper, Manganese, Nickel, Silicon, Thallium, Zinc; and 5 µg/mL (5 ppm) of Silver in 5% HNO3.
