General description
1536 well cyclic olefin copolymer microplates are perfectly suited for high-throughput screening (HTS). A variety of surface treatments enable both cell-based and biochemical assays. The ultraclear, 127 µm film bottom thickness is ideal for cell-based assays that require advanced optical analysis. The COC microplates are mechanically stable and inherently resistant to a broad range of solvents including DMSO and alcohols, allowing for compound storage as well.Key Features Cyclic Olefin Copolymer (COC) material Flat top for improved sealing 1536 Well Hi Base solid color microplates (black or white) Variety of treatment options tissue culture treated Corning CellBIND® Surface Nonbinding Surface (NBS) Not treated Bar coded (one label on both long sides) Custom bar codes available for compatibility with the Kalypsys System Key Benefits Low autofluorescence Broad chemical resistance including DMSO and alcohol, which allows for assay step reduction High mechanical stability Optimized for flatness and uniformity Low birefringence
