General description

A cell-permeable protein kinase C (PKC) inhibitor that selectively inhibits PKC_α (IC₅₀ = 43 µM) and PKC_γ (IC₅₀ = 50 µM) over PKC_δ, β_I, and β_II isozymes in in vitro assays. Reported to induce apoptosis in rodent cerebellar granule neurons.

Protein kinase C (PKC) inhibitor. Selectively inhibits PKC_α (IC₅₀ = 43 µM) and PKC_γ (IC₅₀ = 50 µM) over PKC_δ, βI and βII isozymes.
