Primary TargetN-WASP (neural Wiskott Aldrich syndrome protein)
Reversible: yes
Product does not compete with ATP.
Cell permeable: yes
General description
A cell-permeable N-alkylated carbazole derivative that selectively blocks actin filament assembly. Acts as a selective, reversible inhibitor of neural Wiskott Aldrich Syndrome protein (N-WASP). Reported to bind to N-WASP, stabilize the auto-inhibited conformation, and prevent the activation of actin-related protein 2/3 (Arp2/3) complex.
A cell-permeable N-alkylated carbazole derivative that selectively blocks actin filament assembly. Acts as a selective, reversible inhibitor of N-WASP (neural Wiskott Aldrich syndrome protein), a signal integrating protein. Appears to bind to N-WASP, stabilize the autoinhibited conformation and prevent the activation of Arp2/3 (actin-related protein 2/3) complex.
