General description

A selective cell-permeable protein kinase C inhibitor. Displays about a 10-fold greater selectivity for PKC_α (IC₅₀ = 9 nM) and a 4-fold greater selectivity for PKC_βI (IC₅₀ = 28 nM) over PKC_ε (IC₅₀ = 108 nM). Also prevents T-cell driven chronic inflammatory responses in vivo.
