Immunoprecipitation Analysis: 10 µg from a representative lot immunoprecipitated UVRAG from 500 µg from Raji cell lysate.
Immunocytochemistry Analysis: A 1:500 dilution from a representative lot detected UVRAG in NIH/3T3 and A431 cells.

General description
UV irradiation resistance-associated gene (UVRAG) is an essential component of the Beclin1-PI(3)KC3 lipid kinase complex which functions as an important signaling checkpoint for autophagy and tumor-cell growth. More specifically, UVRAG seems to work as a multivalent trafficking effector that controls autophagosome formation and maturation, and also controls the engaging of the fusion apparatus to the endosome. UVRAG may be a promising target for cancer therapies.
