General description
SYNPO2L, also known as Synaptopodin 2-like protein, is a member of the synaptopodin family. SYNPO2L was initially identified as a novel heart-enriched gene that encodes a cytoskeletal protein highly expressed in the Z-disc of heart and skeletal muscle. It has been shown that even though SYNPO2L is primarily localized to the sarcomere, it can also translocate to the nucleus. Recent studies in zebrafish suggest that SYNPO2L may play an important role in muscle development.
Immunogen
KLH-conjugated linear peptide corresponding to human SYNPO2L.
