General description
Phosphodiesterase 4D3 (PDE4D3) is a member of the PDE cyclic nucleotides. PDE4D3 is known to be regulated by protein kinase C (PKC)-Raf-MEK-ERK and also by cAMP in vascular smooth muscle cells. PDE4D3 is a direct target of the MSH/cAMP/MITF pathway and may play a role in melanocyte differentiation. PDE4D3 is essential to have equilibrium in relaxing and contracting cues to airway smooth muscle. Down-regulation of PDE4D3 may be associated with analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects. PDE4D3 has also been linked to the risk of stroke, and in particular to polygenic stroke.
Immunogen
KLH-conjugated linear peptide corresponding to the N-terminus of human PDE4D3.
Epitope: N-terminus
