General description
Programmed cell death ligand 2 (PD-L2, PD-1 ligand 2, PDCD1 ligand 2), also known as Butyrophilin B7-DC (B7-DC), is a member of the BTN/MOG family and immunoglobulin superfamily which is thought to act as a negative regulator of T cell activation. PD-L2 may play a role in stimulating an immunogenic response through an alternative receptor from PD-1. PD-L2 is highly expressed in heart, placenta, pancreas, lung, and liver and weakly expressed in spleen, lymph nodes, and thymus.
Immunogen
KLH-conjugated linear peptide corresponding to human PD-L2.
