Application
Rabbit Anti-UNCX antibody is suitable for western blot applications at a concentration of 1µg/ml and for immunohistochemistry applications at 4-8µg/ml.
Biochem/physiol Actions
UNCX is a transcription factor involved in somitogenesis and neurogenesis. It is required for the maintenance and differentiation of particular elements of the axial skeleton. It may act upstream of PAX9. UNCX plays a role in controlling the development of connections of hypothalamic neurons to pituitary elements, allowing central neurons to reach the peripheral blood circulation and to deliver hormones for control of peripheral functions.
