Biochem/physiol Actions
Ribonuclease/angiogenin inhibitor 1 (RNH1) has several leucine rich repeats which aids them in protein-protein interaction. Rnh1 binds with greater affinity and reversibly to members of ribonuclease 1 (RNase 1). Rnh1 has high affinity to angiogenin and inhibits its angiogenic functionality.
