Application
Anti-NEMF antibody produced in rabbit is suitable for immunohistochemistry at a dilution of 1:25 - 1:100 and western blot at a dilution of 1:200-1:1000.
Biochem/physiol Actions
Nuclear export mediator factor (NEMF) is involved in the recruitment of Listerin to stalled ribosomes. It forms a complex with the nascent chain-containing 60S-Listerin and recruits and stabilizes Listerin’;s N-terminal domain. It plays a vital role in mediating nuclear export. Inactivation of Sdccag1 expression leads to the transformation of human lung cancer cells.

General description
Nuclear export mediator factor (NEMF), also known as Sdccag1 (Serologically Defined Colon Cancer Antigen 1) encodes a protein exhibiting tumor suppression property. It consists of four prominent domains: the N- and C-lobe connected by a coiled-coil to the middle (M) domain.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide corresponding to a region derived from internal residues of human nuclear export mediator factor
Physical form
Rabbit IgG in pH7.3 PBS, 0.05% NaN3, 50% Glycerol.
Specificity
The antibody detects endogenous levels of total NEMF protein.
