Class III Microbiological Safety Cabinets provide the highest level of containment, allowing to manipulate up to risk group 4 pathogen in a safe way. The Safe3 series cabinets have been built according to the most stringent parameters defined by the EN12469:2000 and include an exclusive four filter system to provide even more protection to operators and environment.

The cabinet features user-friendly controls conveniently located at eye level, with fan speed and airflow managed by a microprocessor. It offers three operating modes: normal, stand-by, and calibration. Self-calibration and internal watchdog cycle before the unit enters a “SAFE” condition. Both “SAFE” and “UNSAFE” conditions are clearly indicated via LED and bar graph displays. Additional functionality includes an elapsed time meter and multilevel alarms with redundancy for added safety. The microprocessor provides continuous display of working conditions and the cabinet has high airflow stability. A power failure alarm and automatic reset of initial settings further enhance reliability. For remote monitoring, a volt-free contact is provided for the exhaust fan. The unit is mounted on a C-shaped support stand for simple, one-person installation. Additional features include an optional anti blow-back valve for ducted setups, a Magnehelic gauge for constant internal chamber pressure monitoring, a standard electrical socket, and a UV light mounted at the top as a standard option.
